Desmond “Dez” Dolly currently resides in Los Angeles and is the co-founder and owner of RocketJump, a digital media studio and distribution platform based in Burbank, California.
A 2010 graduate of USC’s school of Cinematic Arts, Desmond is a writer, director, and producer of TV, film and new media – most notably the producer of the award winning web series, Video Game High School (Variety’s #1 Web Series of 2013 and nominee of the 2015 Producers Guild Award for Outstanding Digital Series). Desmond’s work as a producer-director of digital content (with founding partners Matt Arnold and Freddie Wong) has racked up over 1 billion YouTube views since the brand’s inception in 2010, and boasts clients, such as Google, Viacom, Warner Brothers, Fox, Visa, Conan, EA, Kraft, Samsung, and AT&T to name a few. Desmond is presently filming his role in the RJ/Hulu reality show in addition to showrunning the RocketJump/Lionsgate co-produced sci-fi series, Dimension 404.
With the RJ Film School, Desmond’s aim is to inspire a new generation of storytellers through the development and articulation of the creative, academic and entrepreneurial principles & practices of film, TV and new media.
